HP is pushing the boundaries of on-premises AI computing with a new desktop workstation. The ZGX Fury GB300 is designed to handle AI models with up to one trillion parameters. It combines Nvidia's upcoming GB300 Grace Blackwell GPU with 784GB of unified memory.
The system marks a leap in capacity for local AI processing. Most current workstations max out at far less memory, forcing developers to rely on cloud clusters for large models. HP aims to bring that power directly to the desk.
Specs That Redefine Desktop AI
The ZGX Fury GB300 uses Nvidia's GB300 Superchip. That chip integrates a Grace CPU with a Blackwell GPU and offers unified memory access. The 784GB pool allows the system to load and run models with one trillion parameters without splitting them across multiple machines.
HP calls it the most powerful Windows AI PC ever built. The workstation also includes high-speed networking and storage options to support data-heavy workflows. It runs Windows 11 and supports Nvidia's AI Enterprise software stack.
Developers working on large language models, scientific simulations or generative AI will benefit most. The system eliminates the need to rent cloud instances for every large training run or inference task.
