ASRock brought a lineup of new hardware to Computex this year, and two products stood out above the rest. The company showed off a massive 3,000-watt Taichi power supply designed for AI workstations and a hybrid Taichi Aqua AIO cooler that merges all-in-one liquid cooling with a custom loop. Both target enthusiasts and professionals pushing high-end components to their limits.
Power Supply for AI Workloads
The Taichi 3KW PSU is built to handle the extreme power demands of multi-GPU setups and AI training rigs. It delivers 3,000 watts continuously, a leap over typical consumer units. The power supply includes multiple 12V-2x6 connectors for next-gen graphics cards and supports a wide input voltage range. ASRock said the unit uses industrial-grade components and active rectification for efficiency. Active cooling comes from a large 135mm fan that stays quiet under normal loads.
This kind of power is not meant for mainstream desktops. It targets users running multiple RTX 5090 cards or similar hardware. The PSU also includes RGB lighting and a digital display for real-time power monitoring.
Hybrid Cooling Solution
The Taichi Aqua is a combined AIO and custom loop cooler. It uses a standard AIO pump and radiator but includes a built-in reservoir and fill port. Users can top off coolant or add dye without opening the loop. The cooler covers both the CPU and additional components such as VRMs or RAM via optional water blocks. ASRock designed the Taichi Aqua for easy installation while leaving room for expansion.
The radiator measures 360mm and uses three 120mm fans. A 5-inch LCD on the pump block displays system stats or custom images. The hybrid approach gives users the simplicity of an AIO with the flexibility of a custom loop.
10th Anniversary Hardware
ASRock also celebrated its 10th anniversary with special edition products. These include a white-themed Phantom Gaming motherboard and a Phantom Gaming graphics card with upgraded cooling. The anniversary lineup carries a sleek white and silver design with gold accents. ASRock said limited quantities will be available starting later this year.
Why This Matters
These products reflect a growing trend in PC hardware. AI workloads and high-end gaming demand more power and better cooling than ever before. A 3kW PSU signals that consumer power supply technology is catching up to data center needs. The hybrid cooler lowers the barrier for custom loop cooling, making it accessible to more builders. Enthusiasts upgrading to next-gen components will need solutions like these. Computex 2025 shows that ASRock is betting on the high-performance segment, and these launches give power users new options for pushing their systems further.
