Dreame has introduced two new robot vacuums in the United Kingdom that combine powerful suction, mopping and self-cleaning bases. The devices pack features typically found on premium models but cost hundreds of pounds less than competitors.

The new lineup includes the Dreame Bot L10s Pro and the Dreame Bot L20s Ultra. Both models use a LiDAR navigation system and can map multiple floors. They automatically return to their charging stations to empty dust bins and wash mop pads.

The L20s Ultra offers the higher specification. It includes a heated drying function for mopping pads and a dual-vibration mopping system that applies downward pressure. Dreame claims the suction power reaches 5,500 Pascals, putting it on par with top-tier robots from iRobot and Roborock.

Market Shakeup

Dreame is pricing the L10s Pro at £649 and the L20s Ultra at £849. By comparison, similar self-cleaning robots from Roborock and Ecovacs often exceed £1,000. The pricing strategy positions Dreame as a serious contender in the UK’s growing robot vacuum segment.

Analysts note that Dreame has historically been a strong player in China and Europe but had limited presence in Britain. The UK launch signals a broader push into English-speaking markets. The company also offers a three-year warranty, which adds to the value proposition.

Why This Matters

UK consumers looking for a self-emptying, self-washing robot vacuum previously had few choices below £800. Dreame’s entry forces existing brands to reconsider their pricing. For households with hard floors and carpets, the combination of mopping and strong suction at a lower cost makes automated cleaning more accessible. The heated drying feature also reduces the risk of mold or odor on mop pads, a common complaint among robot vacuum owners.

Dreame’s aggressive pricing could accelerate adoption of robot vacuums in the UK. If reliability matches the specs, the brand may capture a significant share of the midrange market.
